Dawat-e-Hadiyah Pakistan strengthens community economic wellbeing through Idārah al-Tijārat al-Rābeḥah and the Qardan Hasana system. Idārah al-Tijārat al-Rābeḥah offers business counselling, training, and mentoring, while Qardan Hasana—established under the guidance of His Holiness Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin—provides dignified, interest-free financial support. Together, they promote ethical business practices, financial stability, and sustainable growth.
Idārah al Tijārat al Rābeḥah (Pakistan)
Another initiative of Dawat e Hadiyah Pakistan is Idārah al-Tijārat al-Rābeḥah. It is an institution envisioned and guided with the purpose of supporting and uplifting members of the Dawoodi Bohra community in their business ventures. Through structured professional counselling, skill-building workshops, and practical guidance, the department helps entrepreneurs strengthen their business practices, make informed decisions, and pursue sustainable growth.
The institution also works to promote ethical business values, financial discipline, and modern entrepreneurial skills. By offering training sessions, mentoring programs, and networking opportunities, it empowers community members—from small business owners to aspiring young entrepreneurs—to enhance their economic stability and contribute positively to their families and the society.
Qardan Hasana (interest-free loans)
His Holiness Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, father of Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin made great efforts in revitalizing the noble practice of Qardan Hasana (the good loan) which is an embodiment of the Islamic economic principle of prohibition of interest and the enjoining of interest-free loans, institutionalizing the concept. His Holiness established the Burhani Qardan Hasana Trust in Pakistan in the year 1985 along with ancillary trusts and contributed handsome amounts in its corpus, urging the community to do the same. He explained that “to improve the economic condition and raise the standard of living, it is essential to consider Qardan Hasana as an economic system.”
Dawat-e-Hadiyah Pakistan oversees the system of collection and disbursement of funds managed through online software. This initiative ensures that members receive practical financial assistance while maintaining dignity and fostering community solidarity. Together, Idārah al-Tijārat al-Rābeḥah and Qardan Hasana exemplify the community’s commitment to economic upliftment, financial independence, and social welfare.
