Faiz al-Mawaid al-Burhaniyah (FMB) is the Dawoodi Bohra community kitchen initiative, designed to provide at least one wholesome, freshly prepared meal each day to every Bohra household worldwide. Launched in August 2011 by the late His Holiness Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, this innovative program now serves over 7500 households across 8 cities in Pakistan and over 135,000 households globally.
In addition to its permanent staff, hundreds of volunteers actively support the daily operations of the kitchens, ensuring that nutritious meals reach community members promptly. Funded entirely through voluntary contributions from the community, FMB unifies the community, reaching every household regardless of socio-economic background.
Over the past decade, FMB has extended its services beyond the Bohra community, providing food to the underprivileged and delivering aid and relief during emergencies and natural disasters, reflecting a strong commitment to humanitarian service and social responsibility.
Dawat-e-Hadiyah supervises this initiative by providing strategic guidance, establishing policies, and offering financial support. It also ensures that all meals meet high standards of hygiene and taste, maintaining both quality and safety for the community.
