Dawat-e-Hadiyah Pakistan places strong emphasis on healthcare and community wellbeing, providing services that extend beyond the Dawoodi Bohra community to the wider public. Its approach integrates curative care, preventive programmes, and holistic wellness initiatives, reflecting the community’s commitment to social service.
Saifee Hospital
Saifee Hospital offers comprehensive medical care, including emergency services, intensive care (ICU), neonatal intensive care (NICU), laboratories, and pharmacy facilities. Its Cardiac Wing provides advanced diagnostics, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and preventive cardiac care. The hospital maintains the highest standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care, serving both community members and the general public across Karachi and beyond.
Burhani Hospital
Burhani Hospital complements these services by providing general healthcare, maternity care, and outpatient services. It is actively involved in community health campaigns, particularly targeting maternal and child wellbeing. In collaboration with Dawat-e-Hadiyah, the hospital conducts outreach programmes and preventive health activities to strengthen community health outcomes.
Al Nadi al Burhani – Sports, Health & Community Wellbeing
Al Nadi al Burhani is a premier sports and recreational complex in Karachi, promoting physical fitness, emotional wellbeing, and youth development. The facility includes cricket and football grounds, an archery range, volleyball/futsal courts, and a fully equipped gym known as Atmosphere Fitness, featuring cardio, strength, functional training, and boxing zones.
The complex provides training programmes in cricket, football, archery, horse riding, and general fitness, fostering healthy lifestyles and reducing the risk of non-communicable diseases. It also hosts community events, such as the Schoolathon, an inter-school sports competition that brings together students from community-run schools, cultivating teamwork, discipline, and social engagement. Al Nadi al Burhani reflects Dawat-e-Hadiyah’s holistic approach to community health, combining physical activity, wellness education, and social cohesion.
Support for Broader Healthcare Initiatives
Beyond its own facilities, Dawat-e-Hadiyah Pakistan supports hospitals such as Indus Hospital and the Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases (KIHD), extending medical assistance and outreach to underserved populations. The community through Dawat-e-Hadiyah contributed to the upgradation of the catheterization lab at the Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases (KIHD) with the installation of a state-of-the-art fully digital Canon cardiac angiography/catheterization imaging system.
Healthcare provided in collaboration with these institutions reach thousands of participants, promoting preventive care, early detection of illnesses, and health literacy. Through these integrated efforts — spanning hospitals, preventive care, fitness, sports, and community outreach — Dawat-e-Hadiyah demonstrates its commitment to comprehensive healthcare and the wellbeing of both its members and society at large.
